Let me introduce myself. I am the creator (of) DIONNE but i also go by Dona.
About approximately two years ago, I decided I would put more energy into my photography and share more. The problem was, that I didn´t like the approach that social media had to art. The initial idea of sharing art and socializing, had been lost.
Now, in my eyes at least, it is reduced to being a source of entertainment. So how can I share my art and connect with others alike?
I realized I wanted to create a platform focused on connecting artists and creating art together.
Thus, DIONNE was born.
The flood of information and users, along with the overwhelming amount of empty accounts and branded content that you have on social media, have become an obstacle to making real connections with other artists. This is why I created this blog. I wanted to strip back the redundant information and leave you with what´s really important.
Now I can happily welcome you to DIONNE.
With your help this will become a community, a group of artists that work with each other and inspire many more.
This will however only be possible with YOUR HELP! If we want to HAVE a community of artists, we need to BE a community of artists. We all, including myself, have to share this and talk about it to other creative people. Let´s get everyone on board that has a passion and loves creating.
