what I´ve been up to
welcome back! nice to see you again
I want to start off by saying thank you to each and every one of you for the very nice welcome and the engagement in sharing DIONNE. It makes me happy to see that you are just as excited as I am for this project. I am working hard for this to work out and live up to its potential. Therefore, in this little update you will get insider information on what I´ve been doing, the release date of the first issue (!!!) and an invitation to our first get-together. Exciting news!
Let´s get straight into it.
The cover that you saw on the homepage is an introduction to the first ever issue! On it you get a little sneak peek to the topics that are awaiting you. Behind the scenes, we are working on collecting the best (new) music to share with you.
In order to give you insight into the artists we talk about, we will be sharing the interviews for you to read and listen to or watch along. (Make sure to vote on my social media about this! Podcasts or videos?)
In Addition to this, I am attending different events that I will share with you. Giving you important information all from one source.
With this being said I want to officially invite you to an event that’s taking place in Vienna. In order for us to connect and enjoy art together.
On Friday March 31st Cape10 will host another one of their "Black Movie Days", this time screening “Edelweiss“. Following, there will be a discussion of the movie with the director Anna Gaberscik! It´s connecting art, building the community and educating us on an important topic. So, I say, grab your friends and let´s all meet there. Afterwards we can make our way to a bar and have drinks together!

On April 30th, the first issue of DIONNE will go online. Around 20 pages of photography and articles for you to read through and enjoy in the form of a magazine!
Talking about the history of rap, good music and interesting artists. Save the date to not miss out and be the first to see some of my never-shared-before photography!
